CBE's GMP Uplift Programs provide participants with a real-world perspective on Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Our programs are designed to assist participants with the interpretation and application of GMP into practice, particularly for those involved in the development and production of human health products.

GMP Uplift Essentials Program
Experience our unique, hands-on approach to core GMP training
CBE's GMP Uplift Essentials program is the only hands-on GMP training in Australia. Held online and face to face at select sites across Australia, the Essentials program provides entry level employees with fundamentals of why, what and how GMP rules are applied in different work functions and cover universal requirements/GMP principles. Each module includes case studies, guest speakers, quizzes, additional resources and assessments.
Participants in our Essentials Program undertake six Core Modules via our LMS. The six Core Modules cover:
- Introduction to GMPs, Regulations and Licensing
- Quality Assurance
- GMP Documentation and Records
- Facilities, Cleanrooms, Materials and Equipment Controls
- Production and Contamination Control
- Quality Control
As part of the Essentials Program participants are also given the choice of two technical Elective modules from a choice of four:
- Biologics
- Pharmaceuticals
- Regenerative Medicine and Sterile Products
- Advanced Quality Control
Our Elective modules are supported by a live Q&A webinars with a CBE subject matter expert.
After completing the online program, participants attend our two face to face workshop days designed to apply their GMP learnings.
Day One is a facilitator lead Case Study Workshop covering group practice using case work, problem sharing and feedback, an opportunity to engage in Q&A and networking. Day Two is a Hands-On Workshop, held at select sites across Australia, that gives participants the opportunity to put theory into practice with experiential activities in a GMP-like environment.
All graduates of the GMP Uplift Essentials Program will receive a graduate certificate, a curated library of relevant resources, digital credential online badge and exclusive access to our alumni group.
As an outcome by the end of the training program, attendees will have broad understanding of GMP principles, be able to quote specific examples, understand basic GMP application in case studies and have practical hands-on experience of base concepts to operate entry level tasks in a GMP environment.
GMP Uplift Advanced Program

CBE's GMP Uplift Advanced program is designed for senior managers or those looking to move into a managerial role. The Advanced Program covers six aspects of GMP application that impact quality, regulatory compliance and business efficiency.
Our six short courses are based on consultation with industry and our consulting experience where we often see knowledge gaps and sub-optimal application of these disciplines. In particular, the application of risk management has significant leverage over the other five topics and will be a common theme throughout the series.
All our short courses feature guest lectures, assessments, case studies and a complementary live Q&A webinars facilitated with a CBE expert.
Participants in our Advanced Program undertake six Short Courses via our LMS covering:

- Investigations and Root Cause Analysis
- Validation
- Aseptic Practices
- Audit Readiness
- Advanced Quality Management Systems
Delivered in an online, self-paced environment that's ideal for busy professionals, participants in our Advanced Program translate theoretical concepts to real world environments.
To get the most out of the course, we recommend participants have in our Advanced Program:
- Have 12+ months experience in a GMP role or;
- Have graduated from the GMP Uplift Essentials Program
All graduates of the GMP Uplift Essentials Program will receive a graduate certificate, a curated library of relevant resources, digital credential online badge and exclusive access to our alumni group.
As an outcome by the end of the training program, attendees will have an understanding of advanced GMP concepts, be able to quote specific examples, understand complex GMP application in case studies and have practical, relevant skills to operate advanced tasks in a GMP environment.
